With Netbiter, you can remotely reboot and power cycle your DC equipment from anywhere, saving you a lot of service trips. The cost of installing a Netbiter is usually the same as a few service visits, so the ROI is often a mere couple of months.
When using Netbiter for remote DC-Power Switching you can choose between 2 or 4 contacts that can switch up to 50A each. They are individually controlled and you will automatically get feedback of the status of the switching.
Since all sites are individual, you can expand the number of contact with this solution as well.
A Netbiter gateway connects to the equipment using a serial, Ethernet or I/O connection. The gateway has a bi-directional link open via the Internet or the mobile network (GSM/GPRS/3G) to the cloud-based Netbiter Argos data center.
By accessing Netbiter Argos at www.netbiter.net, you can remotely switch on/off your equipment by using a regular web browser. Different tools are available to analyze data and alarms are sent whenever a critical event occurs in the field.
Netbiter has given us a possibility to have an overview of the generators in the field. We now have full control over all parameters needed to make sure the power generators can start whenever necessary.
