The Netbiter® WS100 and WS200 is a series of
communication gateways that gives full access to
remote devices in a flexible and user friendly way. The
gateways contain on board web pages to remotely
monitor and control devices connected to an Ethernet
LAN.
The gateways also contain built-in features for alarm handling, data logging and configurable web pages for monitoring and control data from remote devices.

WS Series - Ideal for remote management of Ethernet/LAN based equipment Netbiter WS gateways connect to any equipment which supports serial Modbus-RTU and Ethernet Modbus-TCP equipment. The WS range is especially suited for equipment that needs to be accessed via LAN applications. The Netbiter WS100 and WS200 both have support for remote connection over Ethernet, GSM/GPRS, as well as through external telephone modems and GPS tracking devices.

Netbiter WS100
Netbiter WS100 is an Ethernet based communication gateway that allows remote web based access to serial devices over Ethernet LAN and Internet. As an option, it can also supports communication over an external modem.
The WS100 has a built-in web server that is used for all configuration and data presentation through normal web browsers. No extra Windows tools or HTML editors are needed.
Transparant Modbus RTU to Modbus TCP gateway
In addition, the WS100 contains a transparent gateway between Modbus RTU (Serial) and Modbus TCP (Ethernet). This feature is useful when connecting serial Modbus devices to supervisory SCADA tool or Ethernet based PLC’s using the exisiting LAN line. The SCADA tools will be able to access any Modbus data at the remote site using standard Ethernet LAN cabling. This can be done in parallel with browsing the built-in web pages.
| WS100 Modbus Device Templates There are device templates for Netbiter WS100 that will make it even easier to configure it for your application. A template describes the Modbus equipment connected to the Netbiter WS100. Upload the template, set the Modbus address and you will immediately be able to show value, write to registers, trig alarms and log parameters. You don’t have to know the actual register address, just select from a drop down box the parameter that should be used. In the Netbiter WS100 there is a built in template editor, so you easily can be build your own template for your Modbus devices. You can modify existing templates to match your needs. |

Netbiter WS200
Netbiter WS200 is suitable for wireless communication using mobile networks (GSM/GPRS) but is also often used in a buildings and factories to provide local web based monitoring and control of remote equipment by Ethernet LAN.
It also has support for an external GPS receiver which makes it possible to used for applications where the geographical position is important, like rental fleets of machines etc.
