NetBiter® I/O Extender series is a collection of analog and discrete I/O modules with Modbus-RTU protocol communication. The NetBiter® I/O extender modules are ideal for a wide variety of distributed I/O applications including data acquisition & control, process monitoring and test & measurement. The solution is designed for industrial applications and is DIN rail mountable. The NetBiter® I/O Extender can be connected in parallel with other Modbus equipment in a multi-drop installation topology.

When using the I/O modules together with the NetBiter® webSCADA product it is possible to monitor/control the I/O signals over Ethernet LAN’s, Internet or GSM/GPRS networks. This makes a powerful solution for remote monitoring and control, alarm management and data logging / trend graphs of I/O’s.

The product has LED indicators for easy overview of I/O status. Screw terminals for wiring and DIP switches on front for setting the Modbus address. It also has a DIP switch to set module to known communication parameters.

The NetBiter® I/O extender range is fully compatible with NetBiter® webSCADA for communication over Ethernet, GSM and GPRS. Used with the NetBiter® webSCADA this product is also compatible with NetBiter.net – an online management portal that simplifies installation, management of many remote sites etc. Read more about NetBiter.net
